Exhibition Reflection♥

      

On May 28^th and 29^th, our grade 5 had the PYP exhibition. Our group G.E.M.S was talking about the gemstone, Pasar Rawa Bening and about the gemstone process. Grade 4~7 students visited our booth. The Grade 4 girls were really interested in our presentation because they were interested in gemstones. The girls asked many questions about the gemstones. Also the boys asked questions too! The girls asked question like, “How many colors do gemstone have?”, “What kinds of gemstone did you buy?” and “How many gemstones did you see in Pasar Rawa Bening?”. Most of boys asked questions about the gemstone process. They asked, “How can they make the shapes in gemstones?”, and “What time did the workers finish their work?”. Before I thought the girls would ask more questions than the boys but the boys asked more questions than girls. And also the parents and teachers were asking the questions to us. They asked question about our opinion. For example, “What did you learn after you been Pasar Rawa Bening?” and “How are you feeling before start session one?” I’m really exciting when some people asked questions to me. And I’m really happy when the people saw our presentation and they said “oh~”. The people who wore the rings make with gemstone, they asked question to me. “Do you know what kinds of gemstone it is?”. I was a little bit stressed to answer a lot of questions. But, I was also interested to answer the questions. 

When it’s time for session one, I was really nervous because I showed my presentation to grade 4, 6 and grade 7. I was really nervous. Finally I could finish my presentation. I’m really thankful to our group members because they helped me to finish my presentation perfectly (Thank you!).

 When the session two started I went to the other groups who went to Sumbawa. I didn’t go to Sumbawa, but I could learn from the other groups booth and they explain to me. And the other group asked questions about the Pasar Rawa Benning and about the gemstone. So we could learn the other group’s presentation together.

 

And we also sold our gemstones or necklace that we bought from Pasar Rawa Bening. I was really surprise!! Because we sold the all gemstones that we bought from Pasar Rawa Bening. But, the surprise ones was the girls never bought the gemstones but the boys were bought the all gemstones! The boys were really excited in our gemstones and some boys said they bought for they’re mom.

 

 This time, I could be thinker because I think about how can I answer the question from people. And I also could be knowledgeable because I could get information about the gemstone. I could get good experience because this was the first time that I did exhibition and this was the first time that I made  a booth about the gemstone. This time, I could learn more about the gemstones and also about the Sumbawa, Copper and Gold mining.
